She gained prominence in the country music scene at the young age of 13 with her hit song "Blue" in 1996. Since then, she has successfully ventured into pop, contemporary Christian, and various other genres. Rimes has achieved remarkable success with over 40 singles on international charts and worldwide record sales of over 37 million copies.
